Due to a low-pressure system to the south moving northeast, the outer bands will bring a chance for flurries and snow showers for MLK Jr Day into Tuesday morning. At least half an inch of accumulation is likely with local accumulations up to one inch. Clouds will begin clearing on Tuesday, but gusty winds are possible through Wednesday. The NWS has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook where cold conditions and gusty winds can bring dangerous wind chills. Make sure to bundle up if you are outdoors!

High pressure will settle in Tuesday night into Wednesday. However, a deep, low-pressure system will move through the area Thursday into Friday bringing another round of snow showers.
