A mid-latitude cyclone from The Plains will make its way over to Athens, and the rain ahead of the cold front associated with this mid-latitude cyclone will arrive by Tuesday evening. The mini-warm front will provide the chance for the high temperature Tuesday to reach around 80! However, once that cold front arrives, our temperature will dip back down into the lower 70s by Wednesday.

Expect some gusty winds this week as today, but especially tonight into Tuesday night, will be quite windy! Steady southerly winds could reach 15 mph, with gusts up to 20! Make sure you have any outdoor decorations secured or brought inside these next couple of days.
