Forecast Discussion

The beginning of the week will once again feature very nice conditions, courtesy of upper-level ridging and the persistence of high pressure over the region. Skies are expected to remain mostly clear for the next couple days, with clouds only passing here and there. The cool, calm, clear conditions tonight mean patchy fog is expected to develop around the region. Meanwhile, temperatures will warm up as the week progresses, from the upper 60s to near 70 today to the lower 70s tomorrow to the mid and upper 70s by Wednesday through Friday. Lows also progressively warm up from the lower 40s tonight to the upper 40s Tuesday night to 50s by the end of the week. By Thursday and Friday, a weak upper-level disturbance may finally provide somewhat of a chance for some rain, although it may only culminate in cloudy conditions.
