Forecast Discussion
The first day of fall will provide us with chances for rain showers, but we will experience cooler temperatures than we have seen over the course of the last week. This rain is forced ahead of a cold frontal boundary that will begin to move through during the morning hours, with periods of scattered rain persisting throughout most of the day. Clouds will begin to filter out overnight Monday as high pressure out of the west begins to settle in. Slightly cooler temperatures will persist throughout the week, but we will still see temperatures above average for this time of the year. High pressure continues through mid-week before a weak cold front brings a slight chance for rain Thursday, which will be followed by another warming trend heading into the weekend.
