Today will see partly cloudy conditions to start, but will later see increasing clouds as the evening approaches. A high of 90 degrees is to be expected, and coupled with dew points near 70, instability will be growing throughout the day. Another day of storms is possible near the evening, with the SPC having issued a slight risk of severe weather in our area. A weaker trough in the upper atmosphere places the left exit of a jetsreak over southeastern Ohio, and coupled with a low pressure further north and a low level jet near our area, the potential for severe weather grows. Storms will most likely fire along a cold front that will reach the region near the late afternoon / early evening, Hazards include wind damage, hail, and a possible spin-up tornado. The storms will most likely be a broken line pattern, so severe risks could be localized as well. Storms will clear from the area before midnight, though a few clouds will linger into the early morning of Sunday.

With partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 80s, Sunday looks to be another calm day. These conditions will persist into the evening, though cloud cover will become more abundant into the night. A shower or two is possible in the early morning hours of Monday, and another round of severe weather is possible as the day continues due to a deep trough and strong low. Temperatures will take a plunge into the upper 70s after Monday as well.
