A warm front that lifted through the region is going to bring us warmer temperatures along with a lot more moisture in the air. Chances of showers as a result of forcing from the front and the moisture with it will persist until Christmas Eve, with the more moderate rain showers being on Saturday. Temperatures are expected to reach up into the high 50s for the short term.

Another system is making its way to Ohio and will have formed an occluded front by the time it reaches us. White Christmas? Nope…more like a wet Christmas! Looks like rain showers are likely on Christmas day and into the evening as well as this occluded low-pressure system makes its way through our region. Rain chances will persist as moisture keeps pumping into the region with southerly flow and wraps around the surface low. At least this holiday will be an unseasonably warm one, and perhaps a taste of what Christmas is like in Florida!
