A dry, overcast morning will give way to steady rain by mid-afternoon that will last well into the night. As a result, The National Weather Service in Charleston, WV has issued a Flood Watch from Saturday afternoon into Sunday evening for Southeastern Ohio. Rain accumulations should not exceed an inch. Temperatures today will be slightly chillier than earlier this week, with a high hovering around 50 degrees.  Expect calm winds this morning that gradually increase with the arrival of rain later in the day.

Rain may continue as late as Sunday afternoon, but should dry up by late evening. Cloudy conditions will keep temperatures stable overnight Saturday and into Sunday, but drop to the mid-30’s after the rain passes. Overcast skies will remain in the area until the end of the week before breaking up and allowing in some more sunshine.
