Forecast Discussion

Today, the last remnants of a high pressure system will move out of the area and lead to an increase in cloud cover over the day as humidity increases. Tomorrow, humidity could lead to heat indexes in the mid to upper 90’s. Sunday, a weak stationary front will affect the area and cause chances for showers and thunderstorms later in the day. Monday,  the chance for storms continues as the stationary front is replaced by a cold front overnight. Heavy rain can be expected Tuesday as the front passes. Wednesday, conditions will clear up as a new high pressure system moves into the north-central United States and begins to affect the area.
