The National Weather Service in Charleston, WV has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Athens Ohio throughout this week. https://www.weather.gov/rlx/

A warm front will make its way into the region today, bringing us southerly flow that will increase the high to near 75 degrees. Winds will strengthen with the warm front and its associated low pressure system as it moves northeastward toward us, with gusts nearing 25 mph throughout most of the weekend. No precipitation during the day, but in the overnight hours into Sunday, the system will pass to the north and bring scattered showers throughout much of the day. As this system moves out, another low pressure system will move towards us from the southwest early Monday morning that will bring a rainy start to the week.
