Hazardous Weather Outlook (For Excessive Rainfall) Today-Thursday
Today is the last expected day of the very high temperatures we’ve been having, as a cold front is expected to swoop in in the coming days and provide some relief from the heat. With the approaching cold front, cloud will begin to increase through the day today and into tonight, where we’ll see the chance at some spotty late-evening thunderstorms. As this cold front passes tonight and through tomorrow, we’ll see the chance at some thunderstorms. Once this cold front passes, it won’t be much longer until we get more rain, which we will likely see by tomorrow night. There is a nagging chance of rain that lasts through the whole beginning of the week, this is caused by a similar disturbance, where we will have some thunderstorms and rain associated with a warm front on Tuesday night, and then more widespread and stronger rain, along with a cool-off beginning Thursday.
