Forecast Discussion

Greetings and happy homecoming weekend from the team at Scalia Lab! An approaching cold front attached to a low pressure system to our north will provide heavier cloud coverage, along with some spotty showers throughout the day. Temperatures will still be able to climb to around 60, but a stray shower during the morning is possible, followed by greater chances during the late afternoon and evening as the front pushes through. Temperatures will dip all the way to around freezing tonight with the colder air filtering in, and the possibility of seeing some snow flurries late exists. Sunday will be cooler as the upper-level trough moves over our region, with highs peaking in the upper-40s. A slight warm-up is then expected as we head into the work week, with models favoring dry conditions for the bulk of the week.
