Forecast Discussion

High pressure will continue to influence the region’s weather today through most of the day tomorrow, leading to mostly clear skies and building warmth for the next 36 hours or so. Highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s are forecast to return today and tomorrow, with abundant sunshine ever-present both days. However, in advance of the next cold front, the chance for an isolated shower or storm will enter the picture beginning tomorrow evening. Storms are expected to be spotty in nature through Monday night, but as the front drapes itself over the region for the middle of the week, storm chances and coverage will increase. With this front expected to stall out in the vicinity of the region, the mid-term forecast is highlighted by increased cloud cover and storm chances, as well as slightly cooler temperatures, which are expected to largely remain in the mid to upper 80s.
