Our warm and sunny weekend continues today with a high of 87 degrees, with a few scattered clouds here and there. Winds 0-5 mph from the SW will accompany a general trend of rising pressure, despite a deeper troughing pattern taking hold. By evening, a few clouds will linger before midnight, but will soon disappear to make for a completely clear night. Winds will be calm and variable, as the low drops to 61 degrees.

Monday, some cloud cover will remain scattered throughout the day as temperatures reach a high of 89 degrees. Once again, no precipitation is likely today, as high pressure only continues to grow. With winds from the south-southwest at 5-10 mph, Monday is likely to be another calm day in our stretch of recent mild weather. Monday night will be more of the same, with some clouds continuing overnight. Winds now from the south-southeast will be calm, and despite a small chance of a pop up storm in the early morning hours of Tuesday, no rain is expected in our area for a while. Long term, our troughing pattern will develop into a ridge gradually, leading to more high pressure and hot, dry days.
