An upper level trough will make its way through the area in the immediate future. Be on the look out for rainy days and thunderstorms over the next few days, including the worst of it today as a surface low pressure system will pass directly through the region. This system will stall out, and become stationary tomorrow, so there will continue to be sporadic rainfall, and due to the high moisture in the area, there will potentially be some intermittent thunderstorms as well. These potential thudnerstorms have prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the region.

Starting Tuesday, an intense ridging pattern will begin to take place. Despite the potential for some rain these days, it will be dangerous hot. With temperatures expected to approach 100 degrees on Wednesday, and the heat index will be much higher. Please do your best to limit outdoor activity on these days, and ensure you take proper precautions if you choose to spend your time outdoors. This pattern will last for a large amount of time, and daily high temperatures are not expected to be below 90 degreed until after a cold front passes on Friday.
