Forecast Discussion
A low-pressure system will continue to stall over southern Ohio and northern Kentucky for the next couple of days, soon dissipating into a long chain of systems. Because of this, the risk for continuous rain over the remainder of the weekend and start of the work week could occur. The National Weather Service in Charleston, WV has highlighted the risk of enhanced flash flooding in localized regions today and tomorrow. Please be cautious if you intend on traveling. This stalled low-pressure system could bring the region some thunderstorms as well, but they are not expected to be severe. Overall, a very soggy Father’s Day is possible, unfortunately.
