We are currently continuing to experience the cut-off low that is the remnants of Helene. This cut-off low will stick around for the next 48-ish hours. Afterwards, there won’t be much going on here as most of the winds from the jet stream will be fairly zonal (moving West to East) and cover the Northern US from Washington to the Great Lakes. This means that there won’t be any troughs bringing in any low pressure systems and by extension, precipitation, after this cut-off low moves off to the East. So, for the high temperatures, today will be in the low 70s, tomorrow (Monday) and Wednesday will be in the mid 70s, Tuesday will be in the high 70s, and Thursday will also be in the low 80s.
