Forecast Discussion
High pressure will continue to reign supreme for the next 12-24 hours, keeping skies clear for today into this evening. As a warm front passes the region to the north tonight, some cloud cover is expected to start building back in, as well as increased humidity and warmer conditions. To the north of the region, a surface low is expected to develop along the frontal boundary, leading to the chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms developing tomorrow. While most of the activity is expected to remain north of Interstate 70, a few rogue showers and storms may drift into Southeast Ohio tomorrow evening and overnight. Mostly sunny skies, hot and humid conditions are expected to remain through the middle part of the week, when the next cold front is expected to bring showers and storms, followed by a significant cooldown just in time for the weekend.
