As we head towards the end of the first week of classes, very nice weather is expected to persist through the weekend and into at least early next week! Upper-level ridging has set up over the area, which translates to a high-pressure system at the surface. This system is going to keep things nice and dry; however, temperatures are expected to climb into the less uncomfortable range around the low-90s by the weekend.

With moisture in the air for the next few days wrapping around this high-pressure system, these hotter temperatures will likely feel rather uncomfortable with the humidity. However, things are expected to become slightly drier over the next week or so, which should hopefully provide some relief from it feeling sticky outside. Regardless, precipitation is not expected through the next 5 days, so get out and enjoy the nice weather!
