For the remainder of the week and into next week, the stable conditions that have persisted over much of the United States for the past couple of weeks will only continue. As relatively southerly winds bring warmer temperatures towards Ohio, daytime temperatures are expected to continue rising through early next week, especially as skies remain clear. Thankfully, nighttime skies will similarly be clear, allowing for temperatures to comfortably cool into the mid-to-upper 60s. Winds will remain calm, likely making the air feel quite stagnant if you intend to enjoy the sunny, summer skies. Overall, pleasant conditions are expected for Athens and the surrounding areas, however, temperatures are likely to rise back into the upper-80s, possibly reaching 90 by the weekend and into early next week.
