A low-pressure system is going traverse the Ohio Valley which is going to bring a period of snowfall to the region. Snowfall accumulations are currently expected to be anywhere between 2-4” which is also outlined by the NWS Winter Weather Advisory. This advisory is in effect from 7 PM tonight until 7 AM on Saturday as the system makes its way through. Snowfall will slow to showers on Saturday morning early and taper off likely before noon. Moderate impacts are likely from this event, so make sure to exercise caution on roadways and from cold temperatures.

Ending the weekend, a slight warm up is expected with a high-pressure system moving in, and clouds will clear out with drier weather.
