Unfortunately, the next few days will be a soaker, as a cut off low pressure system brings showers and thunderstorms to the region for the long term. Flooding may be a concern with rain chances being near daily for the next several days. The low pressure system will exit the region on Saturday with an associated cold front pushing through, decreasing precipitation chances; however, this will only be for the short term, as another cold front at the surface is expected to cross through sometime on Monday. Temperatures look to rebound early next week despite chances for precipitation continuing.
