Forecast Discussion
After a quiet few days, a rather active pattern is in store as we close out the work week and head into the weekend. This will be due to a low pressure system approaching from the west, sending a cold front into our region by Saturday and therefore yielding chances for showers and thunderstorms for the next few days. Excessive rainfall and isolated thunderstorms will be likely, which will lead to potential flooding issues as portions of southeast Ohio are expected to get up to 3 inches of rain. Temperatures will be in the low 70s today as an associated warm front lifts north into our area, with temperatures dropping back down into the 50s on Friday, and then rebounding back to near 70 again on Saturday as this system continues to impact our area into the weekend.
