An incoming occluded low-pressure system is expected to bring a warm front through the region that will bring daytime temperatures up to the low-70s today. This warm front will bring rain showers to the region today, and then a subsequent cold front from this system is expected to move through sometime on Friday. Precipitation will continue with this cold front, and temperatures are going to drop down well below what they have been down into the mid-50s.

Heading into the weekend, the trough will be pushing out of the region but still provide enough lift to have some rain showers. Surface high pressure will build in behind the cold front and by Sunday, the chance for rain should mostly taper off and skies will clear out to begin the next work week!
