For the next few days, a very strong high-pressure system continues to dominate bringing us very warm temperatures, clear skies, and dry weather. Today and tomorrow, relative humidity values are expected to drop into the mid to low teens, and winds may be gusty at times leading to enhanced fire danger across the region. Outdoor burning is not recommended, be sure to observe any warnings/statements from the National Weather Service and the burn ban that is in effect from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. until May.

These conditions will persist for the remainder of the work week until around Friday. A shortwave trough is expected to move through over the weekend and will bring along with it a big change from the current weather. Temperatures will likely still be very nice with highs near 80, but cloud cover will move in and Saturday there will be a chance for some rain. For now, enjoy the beautiful weather outside!
