Forecast Discussion

Widespread rain showers will begin to wrap up by 9am, but will leave the area fairly cloudy. More, but lesser chances of showers and thunderstorms will be into the afternoon and early evening as the nearing cold front from the WNW looks to pass through by 3-4pm. Severity within a few of these thunderstorms will be low, but pose a “Marginal” risk for some gusty winds and even the chance for hail. Today’s high temperature will be slightly hindered as the heavy rainfall from this morning in combination with mostly cloudy conditions can keep it into the low 80s. Some lingering rain showers and thunderstorms extend overnight as this system progressively exits the area to our SE. Wednesday and Thursday try to remain dry, but with this slightly unsettled pattern, a few showers may become possible. Friday and the first part of the weekend will stay dry as well as warm up with Saturday seeing the mid-upper 80s.
