Higher pressure and mostly sunny skies are to be expected today. Some sun in the morning will see a few clouds move in by the afternoon, with temperatures at a high of 84 degrees. Winds 5-10 mph from the northeast will persist as we are stationed within a jetstreak from a troughing pattern. Due to relatively strong high pressure, excessive moisture will be pushed out of the area, making today dryer and without precipitation. Conditions overnight will follow suit, as some clearing midnight will see some light clouds move in by the early morning hours. Winds from the east-northeast will be from 0-5 mph, and temperatures will drop to 57 degrees.

Wednesday will be relatively similar, with morning sun having some scattered clouds develop by the afternoon. Temperatures will be warmer, at a high of 87 degrees. Winds will shift to be from the east due to influence from the developing ridge. Again, dry conditions are to be expected. Wednesday night will see partly cloudy skies linger overnight, with a low of 60 degrees. Winds will keep from the east at 0-5 mph. This pattern won’t last, though, as Thursday and Friday both see much cloudier skies and chances for showers and a potential thunderstorm as well, as we become situated in the left-exit region of a jetstreak and pressure drops.
