Today, dew points maintain values into the lower 70s as temperatures look to climb near 90 as the high, which can produce a heat index into the mid-upper 90s. In combination, very humid and warm conditions in store for today as well as through Wednesday. Some thick cloud cover early this morning as the previous cluster of storms continue to push further east of the county. Based on radar data as of 8am, another slight chance for a morning shower or storm will be possible before some breaking in cloud cover occurring late morning/early afternoon. As the region remains very unstable in combination with a stationary front along northern Ohio, more chances for showers and storms look to begin developing by mid-afternoon. Severity within some of these cells will be possible as gusty strong winds look to be the primary threat. Also, heavy rainfall and even some flash-flooding concern is potential with the slow-moving nature of these projected storms. Fog development will continue to remain in the forecast overnight as well as into Wednesday morning. A cold front approaches and passes through the region by early Thursday, which will open up Friday and the weekend to much drier and cooler weather.
