Forecast Discussion
High-pressure is currently over the Ohio Valley, which is paving way for very hot afternoon temperatures. However, there is a stationary front located to the north, which can initiate a pop-up shower or storm during the afternoon and evening hours. The stationary front will eventually strengthen and turn into a cold front and will bring highs back down to the upper-80s to near 90 for Wednesday and Thursday. Once the front moves through Wednesday morning, clouds will linger and continue the slim rain chances on Wednesday. Due to Hurricane Debby, the low-pressure system will stall just southeast of Ohio and skies will mix with sun and clouds over the rest of the work week. Another low-pressure system from Canada will move southeast towards the Great Lakes bringing another cold front along with it. The cold front is relatively weak and while there is a slim chance of rain, it will most likely remain dry. Once it moves through, cooler and comfortable conditions will settle in with highs in the low to mid-80s.
