Forecast Discussion

In the aftermath of Winter Storm Blair, we can finally look forward to more peaceful conditions. The snow will stick around on the ground for the foreseeable future as temperatures will remain chilly, and decrease throughout the week. Overnight lows will be in the teens, reaching single digits later on in the week. This is the result of a progressing on an arctic airmass into the region bringing below normal temperatures. Be sure to dress in layers if you are to go outside, especially in the evening hours. High pressure will fleet in and out of the region briefly clearing skies today, but clouds will soon follow delivering a slight chance for brief snow showers Wednesday. These clouds will once again clear and fill back in to deliver another chance for additional snow on Saturday. Do not fear! These snow showers will be minimal compared to what we saw the last few days! Stay warm!
