We are stuck in a very stagnant weather pattern with an upper-level trough lingering over the eastern United States accompanied with southwesterly flow. This will allow to bring some moisture to the area with lingering clouds through Thursday. At the surface, there is a stationary front bringing these extra clouds. A low-pressure system from the north will bring in a weak cold front Wednesday night into Thursday morning bringing higher chances for rain in the vicinity. Once the cold front moves through, upper-level ridging will progress eastward with surface high-pressure. This will clear clouds and bring plenty of sunshine just in time for the weekend!
