Forecast Discussion

A very large longwave trough is currently over our region, with a cut-off low-pressure system that is going to continue to linger around for the next couple of days. This system is stalling out and bringing lots of clouds and rain, and will continue to do so until around Wednesday night into Thursday as it makes its way out to our east. Make sure to stay tuned to future forecasts and social media posts as the overnight lows are creeping into the low 30s, which could result in some frozen precipitation tonight and tomorrow night if temperatures start to trend lower.

After this system exits, high pressure will move in, we will see temperatures start to warm, clouds will clear out, and we will hopefully have some much more enjoyable weather! Good luck on finals, Bobcats!
