This will not last long a cold front stemming from a midlatitude cyclone to the north passes through the region Wednesday. This frontal systems approach and passage will bring rain showers Tuesday night and throughout the day Wednesday. These showers will not provide much relief of the drought conditions but is still much needed for the region. High pressure will return just before the weekend to clear the skies and provide drier conditions.
