The National Weather service in Charleston, WV has also issued a hazardous weather outlook for this week starting today (Tuesday 10/15/2024) until Sunday 10/20/2024. Areas of frost and freezing temperatures are possible during this time. Frost and/or freeze headlines may be required sometime during this outlook.

We continue to have cooler temperatures due to the cold front that passed through over the weekend, and an upper-level trough in the jet stream that is bringing some low pressure, cooler temperatures and showers with it throughout the day today. High pressure with an accompanying upper-level ridge will make its way into the area during the day on Thursday, bringing with it some more sunshine and warmer temperatures over the end of the week into the weekend. Today, you will need your umbrella and a warm jacket for your commute as we will see some showers throughout the day and cooler temperatures continuing. There is also a chance of fog this morning and Wednesday morning until 10 am.
