Forecast Discussion
High-pressure will stick around of the next couple of days keeping our skies relatively clear. Southerly wind will spark a warming trend for the region through Thursday brining our daytime high temperatures to the upper 70s, potentially breaking into the low 80s. Dry air will also enter bringing some fire weather concerns, especially due to the drought providing plenty of dry foliage and fuels. Gusty conditions Tuesday will make these concerns greater so beware with any outdoor burning. This warming trend will be put on pause Thursday evening as a cold front passes through. Additionally, this frontal passage should provide some much needed precipitation to the region Thursday late evening into Friday morning.
