A high-pressure system continues to linger over Athens today and will begin to move southeast toward the Atlantic later tonight followed by a cold front associated with a developing low-pressure system over Michigan and Wisconsin. Tonight brings a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms that could start to pop up later in the evening due to the cold front moving into northwest Ohio. Wednesday morning will look cloudy with showers and thunderstorms starting to develop into the early afternoon, with temperatures dropping into the mid-70s. Individual thunderstorms may bring strong and damaging wind gusts into Wednesday night. Tropical storm Nicholas bringing in more moisture and a chance of off and on rain showers Thursday. Another high-pressure system builds back in on Friday, raising the temperatures back into the upper-80s and eliminating chances of rainfall for the weekend.
