As the cold front moves east, it will push rain and heavy cloud cover over Athens. Thunderstorms and heavier rain is expected tonight as the cold front passes over eastern Ohio. As the low continues to deepen into Wednesday, there is an increased chance of thunderstorms and heavy rain, up to half an inch possible. Wednesday night, the cold front moves over southeast Ohio and is heading northeast. Rain showers and thunderstorms are still likely tomorrow evening.
