Forecast Discussion

River valley fog may be present this morning, but should diminish around 9am. High pressure and upper level ridging will continue to keep dry weather in the area for the first half of the week. Temperatures today will be in the low 70s with pleasant conditions. However, you can expect a chillier night tonight, with a low temperature near 44 degrees. Temperatures should warm back up for the remainder of the week. Upper level ridging will flatten through tomorrow, as an upper level cut off low over the plains will make its way into the Ohio Valley. After a mainly dry, sunny Saturday, an upper level trough will move in, forming a low west of the area. From this, the chances for showers will increase into the evening due to a cold front moving in, a feature of the upper level trough. This front may grab some of the moisture from what is left of Tropical Storm Beta, and will bring a better chance of rain Sunday into Monday.
