Forecast Discussion

A stationary front over northwest Ohio attached to a weakening low-pressure system will cause pop-up thunderstorms early this morning and will clear up by mid-morning. Partly skies the rest of the day as the front develops into a cold front and begins to move southeast, overtaking Athens by the afternoon. This will cause a dip of temperatures into the 50’s by tonight with clear skies. Wednesday, a high-pressure system moves in from the north, which keeps the temperatures in the tolerable mid-70s and sunny skies. Wednesday night will be clear with calm winds as the high pressure system weakens and moves out.
