Another beautiful day today, with temperatures getting up to 85 degrees this afternoon. Partly cloudy skies will persist during the morning hours and start to clear out during the afternoon. High pressure will keep us dry for the week. Light winds will be coming out of the north-east, bringing a light breeze. As we get into tonight, clouds should be mostly cleared out with the temperature dropping to the mid 50s. Tomorrow we’ll keep similar conditions but with little to no cloud cover. Temperatures will be in the lower 80s.

Throughout the rest of the week, no rain is expected in the immediate near future, which may lead to an increase in drought conditions. Currently, Athens sits at a D1 (Moderate Drought) drought level. Temperatures throughout the week and into the weekend will stay in the 80s. Looking far out, a cooldown is possible mid next week with temperatures getting back down into the 70s.
