With a front stalled just north of the area, there’s a very slight chance for isolated showers and a possible thunderstorm popping up throughout the day. Today will be hot and muggy as the high could get into the lower 90s. An upper level trough will roll through the area Thursday, igniting storms and showers. Moisture from what’s left of Marco will also get dragged up into our area around Thursday night, the increase in moisture aiding in the possibility for heavy downpours. Remnants of Laura will also move into the area late Friday, expect storms and heavy rainfall to continue.
