Another day of sunshine is in the forecast today. Temperatures will peak in the mid-90s with southerly winds between 5-10 mph. However, as we look into the overnight hours, an upper-level shortwave will move into the region just to our northwest. This shortwave doesn’t look to cause too much for southeast Ohio, but we may see a few remnants of the showers from the northwest, where stronger instability is present. Chances for showers will linger into Thursday. Winds will blow from the WSW between 5-10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. Again temperatures will warm into the mid-90s.

Friday will be dry, with temperatures again in the mid-90s. Saturday and Sunday, chances of precipitation return as a jet streak enters the region and a weak cold front moves through Saturday night into Sunday, bringing high temperatures from the upper-90s back into the low-90s.
