The surface warm front is anticipated to move through early Thursday morning bringing widespread rain showers that will linger throughout the day. Then the cold front will move in Friday morning forcing showers to continue. Afternoon temperatures will drop Friday after the passage of the cold front, as only a high in the upper 50s is expected. Chances for showers will continue into the weekend as the system is slow-moving and continues to weaken.
