Forecast Discussion

Southerly flow has pushed moisture into our area, making it so humidity levels will stay around 70% even during the day. The large amounts of moisture in the area will aid in keeping it cloudy and bringing us showers and thunderstorms for these next couple days. Today a strong cold front will be pushing through areas to our northwest, sending out waves that will ignite storms around early afternoon. Some storms could cause localized flooding. Rain may continue through tonight until the cold front itself moves through our area around noon Thursday. This will fuel another set of storms with heavy rainfall, rain chances dying out into the evening. With the passage of this front we will cool down into the lower 80s and lose our excessive moisture in the air, making for a pleasant weekend.
