Forecast Discussion
High pressure over the region will keep skies clear with lows reaching the 40’s tonight. Skies will stay clear again tomorrow before clouds move in with a incoming low pressure system moving into the region. A warm front passing Saturday night will keep temperatures mild and keep temperatures fairly warm on Saturday as well. This warm front on Sunday combined with warm temperatures and some instability present will keep the chance for thunderstorms to happen Sunday as well. The Storm Prediction Center has our region in the “Enhanced Risk” for severe weather, which means severe weather is likely Sunday. The cold front with this system will move through Sunday night and cool temperatures to the lower 50’s for the high on Monday. A dry period looks to be in store for the start of next week.
