Forecast Discussion
The anticipated cold front has finally advanced on southeastern Ohio (as of 7pm) and will begin to slowly progress further south of the region overnight. Some lingering rain showers and even a thunderstorm will be possible along the passing boundary, but greatly diminish throughout the late evening and overnight hours of Friday. The previously mentioned cold front will continue to stall out just south of the region and offer some cloud cover into Saturday and the rest of the weekend. Any isolated rain chances will be low Saturday, but cannot be completely ruled out for the early evening hours. Sunday and into Labor Day will open up for a better chance of showers and even a thunderstorm as temperatures climb into the mid 80s with an increase in dewpoints. This uncooperative stationary front will finally push further south Monday night, leaving drier, yet warmer conditions for Tuesday.
