High pressure lingers through the night and into tomorrow, resulting in partly cloudy skies overnight transitioning to mostly cloudy in the early morning hours. Temperatures will fall to a low of 62 degrees, with winds from the northeast at 5-10 mph. Conditions are to remain calm as the ridging pattern continues, which has been keeping weather stable for the last few days. Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy, with a few less clouds near noon, and a lot more clouds by the late afternoon, becoming overcast. Temperatures will be 89 degrees as winds keep from the northeast at 5-10 mph, as we still remain on the backside of the trough.

Saturday evening will see skies persistently mostly cloudy as temperatures fall to a low of 64 degrees. Winds will shift slightly to be from the east-northeast at 5-10 mph. Pressure will begin dropping as more inclement weather approaches, which will mainly be impacting us Sunday. The deepening trough will further a surface low traveling from the west into the Ohio Valley Sunday, delivering a chance for rain and potential thunderstorms. The first round can be expected from the warm front around noon, which could bring showers and a rumble of thunder. Much later in the day, potentially overnight, the cold front will reach into the area, bringing a potential for scattered thunderstorms once more. The severity of these storms has yet to be determined, as despite a high of 88 and dewpoints in the 60s, instability remains in question due to sporadic cloud cover and pre-frontal precipitation.
