Forecast Discussion

Mostly clear and sunny conditions will persist through the weekend as a moderately high pressure resides over the region. In addition, drier air and strong northwesterly flow will help create for slightly cooler temperatures and comfortable conditions for Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures can be expected near the mid 80s and could be slightly influenced with any minuscule cloud cover into the afternoon hours. Some patchy fog development may exist through early Sunday morning, but will quickly disperse with sunrise. Temperatures climb back well into the upper 80s alongside moisture for Southeast Ohio in the wake of a surface low. Rain showers and even some thunderstorms return in the forecast as a cold front approaches from the northwest by Tuesday morning and slowly progress south of the area by mid-day on Wednesday.
