The front that stalled to our south for the majority of the day is lifting north back into our area, bringing rain showers throughout the night. Rain may be heavy at times, and an upwards of 0.5″ is expected. Warm, moist air will build into the Athens area behind this front, getting us up to near 60 tomorrow before a cold front pushes in from the west. Rain can be expected throughout Saturday, with the most coverage around the late afternoon hours. The front should clear our area come Sunday morning as we start to dry out, with highs falling to near 40. At this point, high pressure will start to build in for early next week, with highs hovering in the mid to upper 40s and lows in the mid to lower 20s.
