An approaching cold front is going to bring rain, and chances for thunderstorms through the weekend. On the backside of the system, rain showers are anticipated to changeover to a rain-snow mix, and eventually snow showers/flurries through Monday afternoon at least. Thankfully, travel impacts will be minimal with very little to no accumulation.

As the system pushes off to our east, expect the sun to come out and daytime high temperatures to climb slightly as a strong high-pressure system takes hold. High pressure looks like it will dominate through at least Friday, so it will make for a nice end to finals week!
