Forecast Discussion

Counties neighboring the tristate border are still under a Flood Warning as yesterday’s rain continues to make it’s way into the main streams and bodies of water. Reduce your speed around winding roads in our southern Ohio counties, and remember to turn around and don’t drown.

High pressure builds in the area to dry out conditions this weekend, and we will even see some peeks of sun! Temperatures will rise through Sunday into the 50s to bring us a nice break in the cold winter conditions. However, overnight lows still creep below freezing, and with conditions still wet with our most recent cold frontal passage, we might see some slick areas out on the roads. Exercise caution out on the roads in the overnight hours.

Right now, models are showing a low pressure developing up in northern Canada that could bring rain into the area at the beginning of the work week. We will be sure to keep you updated as this system develops and once we get closer to its expected arrival.
